it can’t all be fandom knitting…

sometimes it’s fandom crochet.  fear.

there is likely a group of readers who see this and nerdgasm, and also a group who have no idea what the big deal is.  both reactions are fine.  this little derp-ster was not created for me (i’m still struggling to grasp bronies’ enthusiasm for mlp: fim), but i am awfully proud of it.

i mean, really, i rocked the shit out of this project, from start to finish:

• the yarn was kool-aid dyed to match the pony’s coat and mane/tail colors
• the cutie mark was fudged created using twelve light blue seed beads (six per side) sewn in place with extremely thin fly fishing line
• the eyes were created using medium-weight interfacing, a hand-drawn template, sharpies, and a steady hand

i mean, look at it!  the epic!  the awesome!  total geek points for this shit, you guys.  total geek points!
